What we are dealing with:

- We undertake physiotherapy for newborns, children and adolescents with:

The NDT-BOBATH method:

- Our main intervention method is NDT-Bobath neurodevelopmental treatment.

What it is:
A method based on the brain’s neuroplasticity – its ability to change, adapt and reorganize by creating
new neural connections.

Objectives:

Basic Principles:
– Holistic approach – we treat the child as a whole
– Emphasis on the quality of movement
– Individualized therapeutic strategy
– Prevention of orthopedic deformities

Combination treatment method:

Always assessing the needs of each child, a combined treatment method is applied in order to strengthen and accelerate the effectiveness of our intervention program.

Also, along with the NDT-Bobath method, new modern therapeutic methods that are consistent with NDT-Bobath are utilized, such as clinical pilates, the McKENZIE and Mulligan method, Mirror Therapy, training and practice of coordinated breathing and diaphragmatic breathing.

Rehabilitation with active participation:

According to the latest research data, our approach is family-centered. For this reason, parent counseling is a very important part of the child’s rehabilitation process. Through appropriate advice and suggestions that we give to parents, we guide and activate them to participate in the entire process of rehabilitation and normal neurological, motor and communicative development of their child.

For us, parental counseling and guidance is a dynamic process that is provided to them throughout their child’s treatment. The goal is for parents to integrate motor education through play and other activities into their child’s daily life, so that together we can achieve the maximum and fastest results in the acquisition and training of the child’s normal motor patterns according to their age and developmental stages.

Parents receive instructions and techniques to implement exercises and strategies at home, continuing the therapeutic process. The physical therapist encourages the child to move and explore, using games and other methods, adapting to the brain’s capabilities and utilizing maximum neuroplasticity for the best possible results.
