First visit:
The first visit is important and includes taking your history and a basic assessment of your problem. This will be followed by a clinical examination to clarify the mechanism that is causing the symptoms and to identify any possible contraindications to any therapeutic procedure, so that we can design a targeted treatment program for each patient.
If you have any medical records, you should bring them with you. We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement and changing positions, and that you allow plenty of time so that your problem can be investigated and treated in the best possible way.
Rehabilitation with active participation:
The first reason for the application of the treatment is you. We
offer the experience, knowledge and expertise, always respecting
your particular wishes and needs.
For this reason, in addition to the treatment that takes place in the treatment center,
your active participation in your treatment is of great importance, because
this way you better know your body and understand
your problem.
Our long-term experience in physiotherapy rehabilitation has shown us that in order to achieve positive and long-term results in your problem, you need to make small “therapeutic” changes in your life without much effort on your part. Most of the time, when you are trained by us in the correct way to “sit and move”, this is enough to bring the first positive results. It is important to slowly and safely trust your body, to feel the benefits of therapeutic exercise and to participate again in your favorite activities. In this way, we also achieve prevention of your problem.
Our goals:
Our immediate and primary goal is your rapid recovery and autonomy, so that you can become functional and independent and return to your daily activities with all your energy. Our long-term goal is to prevent and minimize your future health problems. The best possible outcome can be achieved through cooperation and teamwork.
Sessions are spaced out (approximately 1-3 sessions per week) so that you can make progress and we can provide you with substantial help. The number of sessions depends on the severity and extent of the problem and may be reduced as you improve and we train you to help yourself.
